International Research Society for Children's Literature

The IRSCL is the largest body for children's literature research in the world. It hosts a biennial conference (this year to be hosted in Maastricht, Netherlands) and publishes the journal IRCL.

Children's Book Council of Australia
CBCA is a volunteer organisation that was established in 1945 and which runs "Book of the Year" awards for children's literature.

Children's Literature Research Collection at the State Library of Victoria
The State Library of Victoria holds over 100,000 children's books, with particular emphasis on Australian children's books from the past century. The Dromkeen Collection of over 7,500 original artworks and illustrations from children's books was recently transferred to the SLV.
